Net-A-Porter took its second markdown this morning. The sale includes further reductions with discounts up to 70% off.

Bags tend to go very quickly once the markdown tops 50%. This Valentino shoulder bag is now half-off, this Tom Ford tote is $1300 from $2200, and this Tom Ford top handle bag is $2130 from $5150. We would have loved to see some Fendi and Bottega markdowns too but there aren’t any.

Among the clothing, there are a lot of pieces from The Row reduced up to 70% off. Since there hasn’t been a sample sale this season, this could be a good alternitive.

We suspect that the markdowns will get even better as the month progresses. A lot of the most reduced merchanise is from last season and there is still plenty that hasn’t gone on sale. Just try not to get too greedy. It’s not worth waiting save 10% and missing the opportunity to buy something you’ve wanted.

LN-CC, which is based in London, has started a new round of markdowns where major designer merchandise is majorly reduced. Discounts range from 40% to 60% off and the selection is fantastic.

There will be more markdowns but you can’t bet on a lot of this good stuff sticking around. Remember there is no duty, taxes, or shopping from LN-CC, which increases the savings tremendously. Waiting is a gamble.

Wow! It was a busy week. We are hitting that time of year where just about anything you can think of can be found on sale. 

This week, the bulk of my shopping has been concentrated on gift buying. I updated the gift guides with a few more finds that I found interesting. The men’s gift guide got upgraded with a few tech items including this Bose indoor/outdoor speaker that’s $250 from $300. I got my youngest daughter this fluffy chair from Pottery Barn Teen ($100.from $100) and she practically slept in the first night. You can see more great gift ideas for older girls over here. We posted dozens of great sales this week but there are few honorable mentions that we didn’t get to fully explore. The most exciting find happened upon MadaLuxe Vault. They have an amazing assortment of items from Bottega Veneta and Bottega Veneta home that are discounted at about 50% off. Here is a great classic wallet for $259 from $450 or a tissue box cover is $249 from $540. The site also has a great selection of Gucci scarves discounted to $179 from $400 and an assortment of Dior bags reduced 35% off. 

Moda Operandi started at big markdown. There is an especially good assortment of Balenciaga and Valentino reduced 40% to 50% off. These Valentino earrings are $125 from $325, a quilted Balenciaga Hourglass bag is $1200 from $1900, and this Givenchy mini bag is $300 from $600. 

Looking back on the week, Net-A-Porter took another price cut and added lots of merchandise to its sale section. This Dolce & Gabbana floral print beach towel makes a great home gift for $270 from $675 and this Missoni knit blazer is $645 from $1635. Ssense continues to take more markdowns and add to their private sale section. To access the private sale section you must have previously purchased an item and log into you your account. There are Balenciaga tights for $180 from $250. There is also a large assortment of Saint Laurent items. This Carre satchel is $2088 from $2900 and this mini Lou is $886 from $1150. Speaking of which, Saint Laurent fans will not want to miss the brand’s private sale. You can click here for the access link. Some of my favorites include this wallet on a chain for $1079 from $1550 and this tee for $209 from $420.

Nordstrom started its designer clearance sale where discounts run up to 60% off. The sale includes lots of Valentino, Balenciaga, Prada, Saint Laurent, Manolo Blahnik, and more. The store is still offering 15% off beauty. Neiman Marcus isn’t slowing down. The designer discounts are up to 60% off but there is also a selection of merchandise that’s an additional 20% off. Check out the Manolo selection, where sizing is spotty but the prices are very good. You can click here to see more of our great finds. 

Gucci fans need to make a stop at DSW. The discount store reduced the prices on many Gucci shoe styles and is also offering an extra 5% off with the code GUCCI5.  Ace sneakers that are $427 from $790, Marmont Boots that are $664 from $1200, and Zumi pumps that are $370 from $890. I don’t know about you but I’m exhausted from all this shipping and I haven’t even left the couch. The fun is going to continue on  Instagram stories.

Over this way, the Valentino selection is immense. This crossbody Rockstud bag is $1107 from $1800 and Rockstud jelly sandals are $276 from $425. There are also some Saint Laurent options. This Manhattan bag is $1745 from $1750. 

The most exciting part of the markdown is Christian Louboutin shoes. Slingbacks with a bow are $616 from $995 and these nude pumps $430 from $700. Balenciaga is another callout. Here is a City bag for $1462 from $1950 and a Touch Puffer bag is $862 from $1150, and Triple S sneakers are $817 from $1019.
