Every season I head to Uniqlo for a fresh stash of sweaters and tees in every color. Uniqlo does basics better than almost anyone. The key is to stick with natural fibers like, cotton, cashmere, and merino wool. I probably spend more on dry cleaning than on the sweaters themselves, but I’ve learned the washing machine can ruin the yarn. Still, the quality rivals sweaters that sell for several hundred dollars. Proof that the simplest pieces, when made well, can feel like a luxury. Below is everything I bought this season.

From the start, Catherine Holstein built the brand on American heritage, delivering the essentials: denim, cashmere, and leather, each elevated with quiet drama. This winter, Khaite’s capsule at NET-A-PORTER captures that balance perfectly. The collection offers everything we crave as temperatures drop: deliciously heavy sweaters, rich burgundy leathers that whisper luxury, and graphic animal prints that keep things interesting. It’s a study in contrast. Familiar, yet never predictable. Check out the full collection on NET-A-PORTER.
