As the prices of luxury items skyrocket, jewelry has become increasingly more attractive. After all, a Chanel bag costs about the same as a 2-carat diamond. Shopping for fine jewelry online isn’t easy. In many cases, the values are highly inflated and quality is disguised in vague language.
To put it bluntly, gold vermeil or gold-filled is not technically considered fine jewelry. Some people call it “semi-fine” but that’s, “fashion jewelry” and not fine jewelry. Fashion jewelry is fantastic in many cases. I for one, however, don’t like to spend lots of money on what’s not a precious metal. Baublebar is my favorite spot for fashion jewelry. The site usually has the most trendy style of jewelry at a very affordable price.
Over the past several months I’ve become very fond of the selection of fine jewelry from Saks Off Fifth. Unfortunately, the site includes vermeil styles in the fine jewelry selection but it’s easy enough to scroll away.
UPDATE: Through the weekend, you can save an additional 25% off purchases above $150 with the code SPLURGE.
A lot of my favorite items are above. You’ll notice that most if the items are small and inexpensive but that’s the beauty. Jewelry doesn’t need to be big and costly. Sometimes you just need to change it up a little. I love these rose gold and diamond huggie earrings for just $164. They are great for second or third piercings. This wavy gold and diamond band is great for an index finger at $575 from $1150.
I put all of my favorite jewelry items in the scroll above. Saks Off Fifth often has additional promotions where jewelry items are further reduced. Be sure to return to this post as I’ll update it as I find more stores with great values.
