The annual Sephora Beauty Insider sale started this weekend and shoppers can save up to 15% off on all their beauty wants and needs. Access is currently only available to the retailer’s most loyal VIB Rouge Members but opens up to the second tier on April 20th. After April 23rd, the sale opens to the public but the discount drops down to 10% to anyone with a lower loyalty status.
In stores, we usually find that a sales person will amend the promotion outside of the given tiered loyalty parameters. Online users can use the code YAYVIB to engage the discount.
Everything sold in retail locations is fair game. We generally suggest to start shopping the gift sets, like this NARS lipstick trio that’s $79, a Kevyn Aucoin contour and sculpting set is $65 and a Tatcha Dewy skincare set is $56.
We recommend using this discount opportunity to try out the Dyson hairdryer $399. (It’s expensive but it’s also easily returnable if you don’t love it.) We also suggest testing out products from Drunk Elephant, which is the newest beauty craze that often sells out. Pat McGrath, which launched at Sephora, recently lowered her prices. We would suggest starting with a lipstick or eyeshadow kit.
In years past, this Sephora event used to accompany a 20% off discount. The good thing is that beauty promotions seem to be occurring more frequently in department stores and at other beauty retailers.
