The discounts at Intermix are climbing quickly. Right now, many clearance items are nicely discounted and then reduced an additional 30%. The discounts will soon dip more but then everything you buy will be final sale.
The sale is online and in stores but the last time we checked the Madison Avenue store there wasn't a lot left on the clearance racks. You might have better luck Downtown but shopping online seems easier than either!
It's now or never if you want to grab what remains on Net-A-Porter. As an extra bonus, the site is offering an additional 20% off select remaining items.
After tomorrow the sale section disappears and the next stop is TheOutnet. Speaking of which, the discount site is now offering extra discounts on items that are already reduced. The 'spend-more-save-more' promo includes some very interesting items. This Gucci bag is an amazing deal at just $420 from almost $1200. The same goes for the assortment of Sandro clothing. Here's a Edie Parker clutch for just $425 from $1500. Here's a pretty Roksanda mini-dress for just $360 from an original price of $1710.
We love both these sales because there are plenty of inexpensive items that offer a cheap thrill and a variety of more haute merchandise that would otherwise be cost prohibitive. Just remember look at the small print. Sometimes the most discounted merchandise is final sale and it's no deal if you're not going to be able to enjoy your purchase....
Neiman Marcus is the latest department store to take their summer merchandise to the third markdown. We love keeping a close eye on these famous holdouts because it is an extra opportunity to grab popular merchandise that otherwise flew out of other stores the moment markdown started. We even found various items priced better than a sample sale.
The discount at Neiman Marcus is officially up to 70% off and that includes some great shoes styles too. These Saint Larurent crystal studded boots are even less expensive than Barneys and ring in at just $200 from $800. Here are dazzling Sophia Webster heels and Manolo Blahnik tweed slingbacks that are both $200 from $700. (Better than sample sale prices!) There is also a full assortment of Tom Ford shoes discounted 70% and there are full sizes runs available.
Even though this is the final markdown, that doesn't mean there won't be additional discount promotions. Neiman Marcus often surprises customers with an additional 25% off discount or buy-more-save-more incentives. No worries, we'll keep you posted.
July 4th is famous for explosive sales but just because the fireworks have faded doesn't mean the sales are gone. The extended sale promotion has become as much of a tradition as the underlying sale.
The bonus day, final hours and last chances are as commonplace as an afterparty. Retailers already started their third markdowns. So, we would suggest you start focusing on the items you love.
Below is a compilation of online promotions that are still cha-cha-cha-ing beyond the holiday weekend:
Sunglasses, like lipstick, tends to change everything. Finding the right shade (punny right?) isn't as difficult as you may think. As a matter of fact, there are no wrong choices when it comes to picking cool sunnies. Big and strange are as much acceptable as flattering and classic.
The general idea is to find glasses that flatter your face, but true fashionistas tends to skew away from conventional wisdom. We prefer the esthetic of something that offers 'eye-popping' intrigue. Generally, we are suckers for anything a bit different-- from a cat-eye to a bright colored lenses.
Online shoppers should take advantage of the free shipping and free returns offered by Neiman Marcus. If only all stores had such a great selection and were as easy to shop as Neiman Marcus.
Even as we shop for the hottest discounts it's hard to ignore all the new arrivals coming into stores. We always like to take this opportunity to fall in love. After all, there's nothing like living happily ever after with your sweetest desires.
Heading to Nordstrom's newest additions, we started browsing and falling in love over and over again. We are especially taken buy JW Anderson's collection, which features orbiting layers of colors. We also can't get enough of Nordstrom's edgy selection of Rick Owens jackets. Everyone Uptown and Downtown must own a funnel collar biker jacket like this or this.
Moving on to accessories and shoes, check out MCM's new minimalistic shapes that add a bit of sophistication to the label that's better known for it's all-over logo. Alexander Wang is jumping on the guitar (bag) strap accessory trend. Check out this version with studs and grommets. Those attracted to Red Bull-like wings should direct their attention to Christian Louboutin's Samotresse sandals or the Victorina flames. Talk about hot!
As always, online shoppers should take advantage of Nordstrom's free shipping and free returns. If only all stores were as easy to shop as Nordstrom.
What's better than fireworks on July 4th? An explosive designer sale-- of course! Our favorite online designer discount store, Amuze is hosting a huge holiday weekend sale where discounts range up to 80% off. The sale includes some of the best designer brands, like Tom Ford, Valentino, Saint Laurent, Chanel, Prada, Gucci and more. The best part is that you can use the code JULY425 and save an additional 25%.
We couldn't imagine anyone not loving all these discounts but it's also good to know that Amuze allows returns for either store credit or refund (minus shipping). But shop fast, these deals will disappear as quickly as fireworks falling into the ocean.
Today, Barneys took its third markdown bringing the potential savings to 75% off. The online discounts are the same and we are very pleased to see that the online selection is very close to what's available on Madison.
As as you contemplate hitting the beach or shopping, we suggest that you do both. Just find a wide brim sunhat, look fabulous while reducing your iPad glair and follow along as we take you on a link-by-link tour of what's on sale. What's not online you can find in the pictures after the jump.
The buzziest part of the store is undoubtedly the shoe department where the discounts are higher than any other store in the city. Almost every designer sole is discounted 60% and Chanel is 40% off. You can see pictures of the Chanel assortment here. Linen lace-up espadrilles are now $479 from $800, patent leather wing-tips are $340 and tweed navy booties with a patent heel and tip are $590 from $975.
Moving on to the more discounted shoe assortment, Gianvito Rossi Roma pumps that come in a variety of colors are all discounted to $269 from $670. We're especially fond of the aqua suede, but it's totally acceptable if you opt for the more neutral navy or black. Speaking of blue suede shoes, these Aquazzuras beauties are $329 from $825). These studded Saint Laurent rain boots are a great alternative to Hunters for not that much more money.
