Net-a-Porter really faked us out this year. When Thanksgiving rolls around the luxury site usually breaks sale in a way that feels similar to color war breaking at camp. Traffic slows the site to a crawl and it’s a fight to the checkout button. It’s exciting and the discounts are great.
This Thanksgiving, we got a “fake-break”. Sure, there was a Black Friday sale, the site crashed, but very little merchandise was included. And then, with no notice, the discount disappeared and the sale ended.
We’ve been scratching our heads and stalking Net-a-Porter for the past few days. Confused. Then today, sale broke for real. Discounts are up to 50% off, but like with most designer stores most of the best items are still 40%.
There are still some good deals but you have to sift through the “racks.” Below is a selection of our top 10 sale items– in no particular order. Lets hope NAP doesn’t play those fake breaks again. It really wasn’t nice-a-porter.
