Fashion week is turning out to be a bust. Sale merchandise has dried up, shriveled and disintegrated to dust. At this point in the season, discount stores are the best places to shop. You’ll find mega-reduced old merchandise and adequately discounted “new deliveries”.
BarneysWarehouse seems to have some offer some good shopping options with reductions at 70% off. Over here is a denim frayed tote bag, which will serve you well in function and trend going into Summer and it’s reduced to just $53. A Palm Angles track jacket is $195 from $650, a Zimmerman dress is $225 from $745 and this camel color Cordery trench from Vis å Vis is $435 from $1450.
It doesn’t seem like this past Winter’s merchandise has been transferred over to the site yet. When it does, expect discounts of just 50% to 60% off. It’s a far cry from the markdowns of 82% off that we saw at Barneys later this season. As we know, what goes up, must come down.
