The Roger Vivier sample sale started Friday with fans waiting up to four hours to snatch pilgrim buckles for a discount. Today is the last day of the epic sale and shoppers who had restraint will be rewarded with an additional 25% off. Just in time, yesterday, before closing, we checked out what stock was still left at the Vivier sale.
There is still a great selection of merchandise but the towers of size options have been noticeably depleted. Those who wear a size 39 shoe will have the most to choose from while popular small sizes will have the much fewer options.
All the red boxes are all arranged by style, with the buckled versions populating the middle left area of the space. There are not many buckled flats left aside from sandals with crystal embellishments, which run from $500 to $650. (Plus the extra 25% off, don’t forget.) There are more styles of buckled wedges priced at $275 and buckled pumps and peep toes for $375. Non-buckled heels in satin and leather can still be found for $250, as well as strappy versions for $275.
At the back left there are tables full last pairs sorted by size. This is where smaller footed ladies will have the most luck. We found our favorite find of the day – buttery soft black leather over the knee boots priced at $1200 (but come out to just $900 with the additional discount). There are only a handful of boots and booties left throughout the venue, like a black fur lined mid calf version for $850. On the right of the space there is a dwindling supply of exotic leather and feather adorned pumps ranging from $525 to $725. Directly across are iconic flower adorned heels for $600.
Towards the back right, shoppers will find an extensive handbag selection. Prices range from $375 for small leather bags in a rainbow of colors to $1000 for more ornate clutches. Medium and large leather totes will set you back $625 to $725. (These items are also now an additional 25% off too.) There are some belts all priced at $200. Nearby is also a very small selection of gloves and overpriced (and somehow tarnished) costume jewelry, as well as some small leather wallets.
We wouldn’t expect any more price reductions during the course of the day but you will be relieved to know that there shouldn’t be any lines either. Now, that’s what we call a worth while sample sale experience!
