We have received information about the upcoming Louboutin sample sale but the dates have not been officially conformed. Our spies say that the sale will take place on Thursday, November 11 and Friday, November 12. Again, these dates have not been “officially” confirmed and are subject to change at any time.
Before you go racing off to the garment district, please note that this sale is strictly invitation only. In prior years, the rules have been more lax but the publicity of the sale has caused organizers to flex their security muscle.
As chance would have it, the day of the sale usually has the most awful weather and the wait can be hours, even if you are on the list. If you happen to make it into the sale, chances are the only selection will come in a size 36 and under and 40 and over.
One reader from the last sale waited in line for some time before deciding, “I’d rather spend $550 on the basic black loub pump than $250 on the same crazy Loubs you would find on bluefly.com or theoutnet.com for the same price without the line.”
On the other hand, another reader toughed it trough and was pretty pleased after she “waited just two hours to get in and got neon yellow pumps for $250.” Two hours, $250 and yellow pumps. You tell me if that’s worth it?!
