Saks Off 5th Digital Clearance 85%+ Off

Saks Off 5th just announced the digital arm is being liquidated separately from the rest of Saks. This isn’t about the flagship stores or Saks Fifth Avenue inventory or Saks Off 5th stores. It also doesn’t mean there’s a broader collapse happening. The Off 5th website is being run independently, and they’ve been given the green light to sell through what’s left while they figure out next steps. It’s a separate legal entity that happens to sit under the broader Saks ecosystem and use the name, but it has its own economics, obligations, and problems. If that digital business is losing money or owes money back to Saks Global, it can’t just coast along. Saks Global is clearly asking them to pay up which means we need to be on the lookout for extra markdowns.

Right now the site is promoting markdowns of up to 85% off, with some discounts scaling even higher. I’ve spotted worthwhile pieces from Valentino, Brunello Cucinelli, and Missoni. There aren’t many sizes left, but it’s absolutely worth a scroll. This is the kind of moment where it pays to be decisive. You can assume what’s there now won’t still be there tomorrow.

FWRD: 65% Off Pucci, YSL Miu Miu & More

FWRD just rolled out fresh markdowns, and this is one of those moments worth checking before sizes disappear. The luxury retailer has taken up to 65% off a tightly edited mix from Emilio Pucci, Saint Laurent, and Miu Miu. There’s also a private sale section, which you’ll need to log into and it includes Alaia, Miu Miu and Moncler. (I found the prices to be better in the public sale but the private sale is worth a scroll if you can gain entry.) It’s a strong reminder that FWRD’s sale section skews fashion-forward rather than picked over, making this a good window to grab designer pieces that still feel current, but at prices that feel significantly less painful.

    TheOutnet: Extra 40% Off

    Sponsored Post

TheOutnet just quietly turned the dial all the way up with an extra 40% off. These discounts are real. I’m seeing major markdowns on Maison Margiela, Zimmermann, Missoni, and more. The additional markdown is applied once your item is added to the cart and can be seen at checkout. These are solid, wearable pieces, not filler, and the prices are genuinely compelling once the extra discount kicks in. As usual with TheOutnet, quantities are limited and things are already selling through. I’ve pulled some of my favorite finds below so you don’t have to hunt.

    Mytheresa: Extra 30% Off

    Sponsored Post

Mytheresa just added an extra 30% off sale, and this is about as deep as they go. There’s no spending minimum to unlock the additional savings, which matters. You don’t have to overbuy just to justify the discount. Even better, not everything is final sale, so there’s still some flexibility, which is increasingly rare at this stage. Ive on the lookout for Valentino , Jimmy Choo, Dolce & Gabbana , Chloe and more. If you’ve been watching something and waiting for the moment where the math finally makes sense, this is it.

    Mode Operandi 70% Off

It’s mid-January, and the sales are still quietly strong. Moda Operandi is deep into markdown territory, with discounts reaching up to 70% off on designers like Valentino, The Row, and Alaïa. Inventory is more picked over at this point, so sizes can be hit or miss, but there are still some very good finds if you’re willing to dig. I’ve pulled together a few of the best opportunities below.

Chanel Sale: Winter ’24 Collections 40% Off

There’s a lot to look forward to in the New Year, but the first real piece of fashion business is the Chanel sale. It’s officially slated to begin on January 7 in the U.S. and Europe, though we’re already hearing reports from VIP shoppers who’ve started shopping sale merchandise in stores in France.

Some details: The sale runs from January 7 through January 11. As always, discounts are 40 percent off and include clothing, shoes, scarves, small accessories, and podium eyeglasses. All sale items come from the 2024 Pre-Fall, Fall Act 1 and Act 2, and Coco Neige collections, not what’s currently on the sales floor. Bags are never included in markdowns.

No signup is required. The sale is open to the public, and all stores that sell Chanel participate, including department stores. International dates tend to stagger, but many locations appear to be underway now. Some early photos are below, and feel free to share anything you find in the Telegram group MadSpy Chat.

Net-A-Porter New Markdowns: Loewe, Khaite, Chloe & More

    Merry Christmas!

At this point in the season, when finding a great deal takes a little digging, Net-A-Porter quietly added a strong wave of designer merchandise to its sale. The discounts are 40–50% off, not the kind of markdowns that stop you in your tracks, but the selection is genuinely good. Think classic pieces from Loewe, Khaite, Dries Van Noten, Manolo Blahnik, Chloe, and more. Below are some of my favorite finds:

Loewe Raffia Tote  $750 from $1250

Manolo Blahnik suede flats $651 from $935

Toteme bucket bag $834 from $1390

Ferregamo ankle boots $837 from $1790

Savette top handle bag $875 from $1750

    The Best Christmas Shopping

Black Friday is for amateurs. Real shoppers know the day after Christmas is where the magic happens. This year, the 75% off markdowns are already strong and the best pieces are moving quickly, but that doesn’t mean the hunt is over. Many retailers are quietly rolling out fresh waves of first markdowns, creating new opportunities to score standout finds. As the week unfolds, more deals will surface for those paying attention. Here are some of our favorite places to shop right now.

Pro tip: Don’t forget to download Haute Pursuit. It’s free and it’s the best way to make sure you’re finding the best deals quickly and easily.

Bergdorf has quietly marked pieces down to 75% off, with Alaïa, Valentino, Jimmy Choo, and Oscar de la Renta in the mix. The extra 25% off also extends into the private sale, where you’ll find Prada and Bottega Veneta included.

Neiman Marcus just added an extra 25% off, bringing total savings to as much as 75%. The best discounts right now include Manolo Blahnik shoes, select Dolce & Gabbana pieces, and Valentino. Inventory is moving fast, but there are still worthwhile pieces if you keep checking back.

Saks Fifth Avenue  has pushed discounts to 75% off, with a wide mix of designer markdowns. Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen, Valentino, and Chloé are all heavily reduced, along with plenty of other names worth scrolling. This is where the sale starts to feel like real deals.

Nordstrom kicked off extreme discounts early this year, with tons of reduced designer merchandise now with an extra discount. That means total savings of over 70% on many items! Through the private sale link, you’ll also find incredible deals on Prada, Bottega Veneta, Valentino and more.
