Black Friday is for the amateurs. Real shoppers sharpen elbows for the day after Christmas. It’s usually the time of year where you can find a rather good selection of merchandise that’s highly discounted.

Many retailers started their markdowns late, which means post-Christmas shopping will be better than usual. Over the course of the week, you’ll be able to find great opportunities to pounce. Intermix is hosting a private sale where a selection of sale items are 50% off. To access the sale you will need to be a VIP and  click here and sign in to your account. 

Here we go again. Ssense started another round of markdowns. Some items were reduced further and other merchandise was added to the private sale section. To access the private sale you need to have already purchased an item from Ssense and log into your account. 

There is a very large assortment of Saint Laurent items. We suggest you focus on perspective purchases that are hard to catch on sale or reduced close to 30% off. Otherwise, you might be better off purchasing elsewhere. This Carre satchel is $2088 from $2900 and this mini Lou is $886 from $1150.

There were also lots of Golden Goose added to the private sale. The discount isn’t insane but there are sizes and a great assortment of styles. These Superstars are $352 from $530 and this pair with a gold star is $347.

Some of the more reduced items include these Fendi pumps that are $519 from $880 and this Fendi skirt is $449 from $1100.  There are still lots of Commes des Garcons items like this white shirt with a heart for $142 from $180 or a hoodie for $176 from $220.

We aren’t in love with this private sale format, which is exclusionary to many customers. Maybe it’s enough incentive to be a customer before the next sale.

It’s not even Christmas yet but we found a gift for you. Right now you can save an additional 30% off sale items at Bergdorf Goodman. 

The sale started this morning and includes a whole host of designer merchandise. You can check out what we found at the store here. Our first online click was the Manolo Blahnik selection. These polka dot BBs are $196 from $700, Giraffe print 105 BBs are $290 from $700 and snakeskin oxfords are $350 from $845.

There are also great Saint Laurent finds. This YSL pouch is $280 from $575, espadrilles are $180 from $345, and this Manhattan tote is $153 from $2150. The Off-White markdowns are considerable too. This leather skirt is $473 from $1700. The Balenciaga assortment is pretty good too.

The Bergdorf Goodman extra sale promotion ends on Christmas Day. There won’t be an additional discount promotion like this for some time. We suggest you hop to it if there’s something on your radar.

The holiday season is coming to the end. This is officially the last shopping weekend before Christmas. As we predicted, holiday shipping is delayed and there are plenty of holiday gifts stuck in purgatory. 

We expect this week to not be too eventful when it comes to markdowns. Fendi is the latest brand to go on presale at stores. Don’t be surprised to find discounts to hit the web this week.

Neiman Marcus  is offering an extra 25% off a large selection of already reduced merchandise. These Manolo slingbacks are $340 from $700 and classic BBs are $324 from $625. We also spotted some great Bottega Veneta items in the sale section. This small Cassette crossbody is $799 from $1250 and this tote bag is $1590 from $2500. 

Thom Brown fans must click over to this private sale where a great assortment of merchandise is 30% off with the code PS30. Men can use this link. The code is the same. This elephant knit sweater is $600 from $850 and a cable knit hat is $150 from $250. 

Looking back on the past week, there are really some notable places to scroll. London-based LN-CC has some major designer markdowns. A Gucci Dionysus clutch is $1113 from $1600 and Gucci Marmont espadrilles are $311 from $690. You can click here to see more of our great finds. 

Net-A-Porter started a new round of markdowns this week. Discounts are now up to 70% off. This Tom Ford tote is $1300 from $2200, and this Tom Ford top handle bag is $2130 from $5150. You can click this way to see more of what we found.
