Some might ask Trick-or-Treat but this isn’t a trick and there ain’t no treat from YSL. Today the French luxury brand started rollouts of price increases. Most items are up about 10%, which stinks but isn’t horrible. Other items, like the price of the popular Rive Gauche small size tote, is up to $1790 from $1390.  That’s about 28%– I did the math! The good news is that the huge Icare bag is “steady” at $4900 and the brand new release of the Le 5 a 7 hobo bag is the same at $2400. (Phew!) If you’ve been waiting to buy a YSL bag, we suggest you do it now and don’t wait for the holidays. The deals will dry up and you’ll be paying the Q4 2022 premium. The Canadian retailer, Ssense is hosting a private sale where you can save 20% off a large assortment of designer merchandise. US customers can use the code US2022 at checkout to engage the discount. International shoppers (including Canada) should use the code FW2022. There are lots of exclusions but we found lots of beauty brands like, Diptyque, Byredo and Le Labo. The high end designer clothing brands are a little more difficult to find but you can use the discount on Amina Muaddi, Mugler, Coperni, Blumarine, and Gianvitto Rossi.
