Now that you’ve stocked up on your La Perla it’s time to get a great deal of clothing for your offspring. Bonpoint is hosting a sample sale at the Met Pavilion Wednesday and Thursday (Oct 28th and 29th).

The discount will supposedly be up to 75% off. Even 75% off Bonpoint can be still pricey. How do these markdowns sound to you: Baby coats $70-$180 (retail $180-$450), girl’s cardigans/pullovers $55 (retail $155), girl’s coats $80-$175 (retail $180-$550), boy’s pants $60 (retail $150) and shoes $35-$80 (retail $150-$260). Since we’ve never had luck at their in store sample sales we might think twice about heading down town but this might be a must-shop for Bonpoint lovers.

Now strollers are allowed in the sale but try-on space is available?!

BoConcept, the furniture store, is hosting a sample sale consisting of furnishings, clothing and jewelry. Included in the sale are women’s clothing from Zang Toi, jewelry from Wendy Brandes, baby clothing from Caroline Cameron, men’s clothing from Sally Randall Burnger and, of course, home accessories from BoConcept.

The sale runs just Friday evening and Saturday. The discount ranges widely according to designer. Some Zang Toi clothing will be marked up to 80% off while Sally Randall Brunger men’s clothing will be just about 40% off.

This is the perfect sale if you’re decorating. Just be careful to keep your eye on what you need. Meaning, don’t buy a skirt if you need a couch. If only I could follow my own advice I would have a furnished apartment and room in my closet.

It kind of figures that Prada and, Magia, our favorite children’s showroom are running sales the same week. Magia is the showroom that represents some of the finest kid’s clothing brands including, Il Gufo, Armani Junior, Simonetta, Cavalli and P&C.

The sale runs all week — Mon., Oct 19 to Fri., Oct 23. Prices are below wholesale but there is no restocking. Once a sample is gone, it’s gone! Sizes for girls and boys run from layette to 16-years-old.

Bring lots of cash because no credit cards are accepted. Don’t forget to sharpen your elbows because a momma in fashion lust can be more dangerous than a fashion intern at a Barneys Warehouse Sale.
