    MyTheresa: Extra 40% Off Sale

The German-based luxury site, MyTheresa just started a flash sale promotion where sale merchandise is up to an additional 40% off.  Discounts already span up to 50% and the additional markdown takes some prices to 65% off. The flash sale doesn’t officially start until Thursday but our friends gave us a little head start.

Some of our favorite items are below. The sale ends Sunday.

D’aniello 20% Off Sitewide: Golden Goose & Fendi

If you’re looking for designer Spring fashion sales, set your sites on D’aniello boutique. You can use the code MADISON20 to save 20% off most new season items. The only items not included in the promotion are indicated as ‘carry over.’ Take note of the plentiful Golden Goose options and Fendi logo items. The promotion remains valid through April 5.

Below are some of our favorite items:

MatchesFashion: Deep Discounts for Summer Fun

MatchesFashion started a huge markdown, which contains lots of Summer merchandise. The discounts are up to 80% off. Many of the most discounted items are from last year but will transition easily to the upcoming season especially since most of last year’s wardrobe didn’t make a public appearance anyway. You can access the sale options here.

Below are some of our favorite items:

LN-CC: 20% Off Bottega, Prada, and Balenciaga

LN-CC, which is based in London, has started a promotion that provides the perfect opportunity to score a new season item for a nice discount. You can use this link and with the code LNCC-SPRING20 to save money on a great variety of designer merchandise. Take note, the code doesn’t work on most Gucci, YSL bags, or pre-order items. Remember, taxes, and duties are included in the price you see, and many items retail for less in London than they do in the US.

Below are some of our favorite items:

    Savannah’s: 20% Off Manolos, Louboutin & More

The Stockholm-based boutique, Savannah’s is hosting a weekend sale where everything on the site is discounted 20% off. The online store has a terrific online shoe department. Use the code BDAY20 to engage the savings at checkout. Take note, there are no taxes or duties and shipping is free in most cases.

Below are some of our favorite sale picks.

Where to Buy Gold Jewelry Online

As the prices of luxury items skyrocket, jewelry has become increasingly more attractive. After all, a Chanel bag costs about the same as a 2-carat diamond. Shopping for fine jewelry online isn’t easy. In many cases, the values are highly inflated and quality is disguised in vague language.

To put it bluntly, gold vermeil or gold-filled is not technically considered fine jewelry. Some people call it “semi-fine” but that’s, “fashion jewelry” and not fine jewelry. Fashion jewelry is fantastic in many cases. I for one, however, don’t like to spend lots of money on what’s not a precious metal. Baublebar is my favorite spot for fashion jewelry. The site usually has the most trendy style of jewelry at a very affordable price.

Over the past several months I’ve become very fond of the selection of fine jewelry from Saks Off Fifth. Unfortunately, the site includes vermeil styles in the fine jewelry selection but it’s easy enough to scroll away.

UPDATE: Through the weekend, you can save an additional 25% off purchases above $150 with the code SPLURGE

A lot of my favorite items are above. You’ll notice that most if the items are small and inexpensive but that’s the beauty. Jewelry doesn’t need to be big and costly. Sometimes you just need to change it up a little. I love these rose gold and diamond huggie earrings for just $164. They are great for second or third piercings. This wavy gold and diamond band is great for an index finger at $575 from $1150.

I put all of my favorite jewelry items in the scroll above. Saks Off Fifth often has additional promotions where jewelry items are further reduced. Be sure to return to this post as I’ll update it as I find more stores with great values.

Haute Pursuit: Save Time/ Save Money

Shopping has become a full-time job. It can take hours to scroll and click through the web to find the item and size you want for the best price. Believe me, I know.

With a little twist of technology, we are making it a lot easier to find the right item for the best price. Haute Pursuit is a desktop browser extension that actually scans thousands of websites to find alternative sale options while you’re already shopping. You can click here to download the extension to your browser now. (Unfortunately, this feature cannot be used on mobile devices.)
We recently added dozens of new sites in our most recent update. That means that you’re more likely to find a great deal while you’re shopping. If you know exactly what you want, you can click the Haute Pursuit icon in your toolbar and enter a search term.
Haute Pursuit will scan your key term against 1000s of retailer’s websites to find you all the matches that are on sale. The extension can be used with Safari, Chrome, or Firefox.

    How it works:

Let’s say you’re shopping on Italist for a Balmain tank. You’re thinking that Italist is likely to offer a great price because it pulls from multiple stores in Europe. You find a great black-gold color combination and see it’s already reduced to $305 from the normal price of $395. Not bad, right? Without even another click Haute Pursuit offers you all the other sale options on Balmain tanks. What do you know… Net-A-Porter has the same tank for $197. SCORE!

It’s doubtful that I would have found this exact item for this price without hours of work.

Haute Pursuit is still in Beta testing and doesn’t automatically drop-down suggestions at every retailer but we are adding more retailers every week. Always remember, you can also tap the Haute Pursuit icon in the toolbar and enter a search term to find nearly any item for which you’re in “Haute Pursuit.

Downloading the Haute Pursuit extension is very easy and will immediately engage. Just one note for Chrome users: After downloading, hit the puzzle piece next to your search bar and hit the pin icon. Feel free to contact us at hello@hautepursuit.co if you have any questions, feedback, or comments.
