    Bergdorf Goodman: Extra 20% Off Sale

    Bergdrof Goodman just started an exclusive online promotion to VIP shoppers. The sale is an extra 20% off already discounted merchandise, which brings the total markdown to 50% off on many items. The sale is online and only accessible with this private link.

    Some of the sale highlights include these Miu Miu fur slides with a jeweled buckle that are $550 from $990 and this Balmain rockstar tee is $260 from $480. A Derek Lam leather jacket is $450 from $760 and a dramatic Andrew Gn black-and-white geometric coat is $1435 from $3000.

    Among the bags, there is this Balenciaga scarf bag is $1200 from $2150 and the small version is just $870 after the additional discount. The Balenciaga shopper is $950 from $1700 and this Fendi bag strap is $700 from $1250. A Valentino Demilune, which just debuted this season, is $1450 from $2600.

    Again, the sale is only online. We asked, and the store will not price match or participate. We suggest you buy what you like with our private link before the sale goes public. The promotion ends December 10.

    Let’s be honest, the best part of the holiday season is buying indulgent things for yourself! Still, there are others who need to be recognized and shown some gifting love. Presenting a truly thoughtful gift is thrilling and gratifying. Finding that special gift, however, can be arduous and strenuous.

    We are so thankful that Nordstrom offers such a great selection of thoughtful gift items. We love Kate Spade’s adorable collection of winter hats, especially this winky beanie. This Gucci Marmont cross body bag will thrill even the fanciest girl. It’s under $1000, so it won’t completely deplete the holiday gifting coffers. The Gucci Marmont belt will be equally appreciated and will set you back half the amount of the bag, which means you’ll have more money for yourself.

    Check out this travel vanity case ($219), which is perfect for the beauty junky- jetsetter. We just wonder if it would be considered a carry-on or a ‘personal item.’ Speaking of jet set, a new Ramowa ($695) is always a crowd pleaser.

    This season, we have been spying for great jewelry finds. We love this simple 14k gold zig-zag stacking ring that’s just $150. A similar style vertical heart pendant is just $220.

    If you’re still stumped, check out Nordstrom’s MoMA Design Store. We love this lucite yellow-pink vase $179 and this LED heart light ($69) could brighten anyone’s day and is the perfect punctuation for a child’s room.

    As always, online shoppers should take advantage of Nordstrom’s great customer service, which features free shipping and free returns. If only all stores were as easy to shop as Nordstrom.

    Spying Saks Shoe Sale (Pics, Pics, Pics)

    The tree is ‘lit’ and Rock Center is in full Christmas mode. Who could object to a stroll down 5th and over to Saks Fifth Avenue?

    It’s not quite second markdown time but we couldn’t help from taking inventory of all the nice and naughty shoes on sale.  As usual, the sale shoes are displayed on racks according to size. It tends to get a little messy during sale season but the racks seemed more organized than usual.

    While browsing, we found thigh-high Balenciaga stretch boots in velvet that are $976 from $1400 and pink knife boots that are $567 from $945. There is a large variety of Manolo Hangisi heels in assorted colors. We were most surprised by the Gucci selection that’s still available. Rainbow platform sneakers are $597 from #995, wedge snake sandals are $540 from $900 and Gucci ghost slip-on sneakers are $350 from $580. There are dozens of pictures from the store right this way.

    Christian Louboutin shoes are also discounted 40%. A full assortment of pics are here. On the way out, we spotted piled boxes of Vetements x Manolo but they haven’t been added to the sale section. Considering how many pairs are still left, we wouldn’t be surprised if they hit the racks soon.

    The next ‘hard’ markdown won’t be until after Christmas, when the shoe discount will hit 50% off. We expect that there will be a 20% off discount promotion, which will give shoppers a bit of a Christmas second markdown presale opportunity.

    Get Warm at the Annabelle Fur Sample Sale

    Staying warm and stylish is never easy when it’s very cold. When temperatures drop there is no better way to keep warm than in fur.

    Ahead of the first big cold snap, Annabelle is hosting sample sale that’s sure to warm your heart, body and wallet. The sale will include a large assortment of of high quality fur coats, vests, jackets and accessories. We are told that prices will be well under wholesale.

    Once you’re geared-up and looking great, it won’t matter even if it’s cold, cold, freezing.

    Ready-to-wear and leather goods from the fall, winter and pre-fall collections will be discounted up to 90% off retail. This two day sale will take place at the designer’s showroom. Expect to find ready-to-wear, shoes and handbags. At the Summer sale bags were priced between $300 and $500, dresses were $125, coats were $200, and ornate gowns were $1000. The most difficult part of shopping this sale is not going home with everything.

    Details Inside the Chanel Presale (Updated-Bergdorf Pics)

    The Chanel sale officially goes public on December 7 but insiders can begin presale-ing on Monday. The discount will be 40% on shoes, jewelry and clothing at both Barneys and Chanel boutiques. The discounts at Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue is 30% off retail.

    Chanel doesn’t authorize retailers to sell it’s merchandise online but we curated a selection of pictures sent to us from various sales people and snapped some of our own. You can browse the pictures here or scroll through some unofficial online items. We are awaiting intelligence from Bergdorfs.

    If you desire a particular item, we suggest contacting a reliable sales person. Last season, was exceptionally difficult for Chanel lovers because very few bags styles went on sale. This season’s sale list includes a very nice assortment of Chanel jewelry. The next markdown usually happens pretty quickly and the discount ranges from 50% to 60% off. Stay tuned for updates.

    Take note, Barneys is offering an extra 20% off all sale items, which brings the total discount  to 50% off. Loubouitn and Chanel are excluded in that promo but there is still a lot of great temptation.

    Louboutin at Bergdorf Goodman

    The Louboutin markdown is slated to officially kick off on Friday but stores have been allowing customers to presale purchases. We already did an extensive investigation of the sale styles at Barneys, which will be 40% off but was wowed by the selection at Bergdorf Goodman.

    The discount at Bergdofs is just 30% off but the store has many styles that aren’t carried at Barneys and have a lot more inventory and sizes than available at the designer’s boutique. You can click here to see all the styles that will be included in the Bergdorfs sale. Some highlights include, our favorite Moulamax low boots that will be $685 from nearly $1000. Once du Desert pumps are classic with a twist and come to $625 from $895. (Click here for pictures.)

    Louboutin fans will probably be most excited about the sale assortment of sneakers. There are these rainbow spiked sneakers that come to $740 from $1045, fully spiked Roller Boat sneakers that are about $900 from $1300 and full bedazzled Roxxxy sneakers are $1400 from nearly $2000.

    The sale is slated to go live in stores and online on Friday. We suggest keeping an eye on the site and swiveling back and forth between Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman. (Click here to see pictures from in the store.)

    Madison Ave Sale-ing: Balenciaga, McQueen, Pucci, Stella & Lanvin

    It couldn’t have been a more perfect day to sale down Madison Avenue. The bright sun, changing leaves and ubiquitous sales make it ideal conditions to browse, shop and absorb all the beauty of luxury fashion.

    Today, we collected markdown intelligence from some key Madison Avenue boutiques. The best part is that the weather is supposed to remain cooperative through the weekend. That means holiday shopping will be that more enjoyable.

    Take note, most stores have officially started sale season. Discounts range from 30% to 50% off. Some boutiques are offering even better pricing than the department stores. Keep an eye out, the Chanel sale will begin in mid-December. Golden Goose and Mr. & Mrs. Italy claim they will not have any markdowns. (We’ll see about that.)     Expect to snag a discount of 40% off at the McQueen boutique. Shoes and bags are discounted the same amount. We were most taken by the luscious shearling-lined leather coats and jackets. We also loved this collection for these of hardware. Grummets and d-rings add a great edge to what could otherwise be a flat collection.

    Who is gaga for Balenciaga? Clearly everyone. The discounts range from 30% to 50% off. The problem is that the boutique sales people can’t really tell you which shoe styles are marked down or the prices. Sizes are also sketchy. Clearly this floral print Knife pump is discounted 50% but we were told that there weren’t any pumps included in the markdown. It’s better to stick to the bags, which are much more straight forward. Be on the look out for the small selection of Graffiti City Bags. They are from the new Spring collection and not on sale but they will be sold out in a flash. Production is really tight and it’s currently the hottest bag on the market.

    You can soak in all the colorful drama of Pucci’s mid-century colorful print at 40% off. Bags, shoes and jewelry are also discounted 40%. We always love Pucci’s bright solid coats that are trimmed with big fox collars. Online at Saks, you can find some swim suits that are discounted 50% and perfect for winter vacation.

    Stella McCartney
    You’ll find clothing discounted 50% and shoes and bags marked down by 40%. The bag selection isn’t terrific in the store. You should head online to see a better assortment. The boutique has an especially great selection of coats and the markdown tops any department store. We love this long check grey coat that’s reduced to $900 from $1800 and platform star sneakers are always classic ($540 from $900).

    Clothing, shoes, jewelry and most bags are discounted 50% at Lanvin. It’s hard to find any rays of sunshine within this collection. If you are a sneaker fan there are lots from which to choose. Most styles are on sale for about $300 from $600. This tailored print coat is quite eye-catching.
