Nordstrom is sticking to its private sales this season. This week Prada was added to the sale section and today we woke up to find lots of Givenchy, Alaia, Stella McCartney and lots of extra designer finds.  Most of the markdowns are 40% off. Below are some of the standout sale items at Nordstrom.

Unfortunately, most of the best merchandise is being held back for Private Sale customers. To qualify for the Private Sale you would have needed to make a purchase before markdowns started. Moda Operandi started another round of markdowns. There doesn’t seem to be a lot more new merchandise in the sale section but a lot of what’s there is further reduced. Luisa Via Roma is offering an extra 20% off lots of sale items. The extra discount brings the total savings to nearly 65% on some items. We suggest you pay special attention to Burberry items, which are from the runway collection. Not all items are eligible for the extra discount but the sale section is stocked with lots of good options. We would highly suggest a scroll. Below are some of our favorite finds.

There is nothing like spending a little time inside of a store to feel inspired and soak in the holiday spirit. Today we tucked into Saks Fifth Avenue for a moment to see what we could find.
