Luisaviaroma Offers Extra 20% Off Sale

Florentine online store, Luisaviaroma is offering an extra 20% off sale items. Discounts in the sale selection already range up to 50% off and the extra promotion brings the total savings to 60% on some items.

Some of the items, like this Saint Laurent fur jacket with exaggerated shoulders, is from last year but some fashion is so iconic that it grows even more endearing with age and nostalgia. It’s fun to love ridiculous fashion. Polka dots are still a huge trend this fall, here is last season’s Dolce & Gabbana chiffon gown is $3000 from $5400. This Balmain cape jacket is timeless. It’s one of those items that can be worn for many generations.

If you’re looking for less expensive options there is this Fenty x Puma sweatshirt with extra long sleeves that comes to about $77 from $186. We also have affinity for this Anna K tee that says “Fashion Circus”. It’s now $60 from $110. We are also digging these IRO acid wash skinny jeans that are $110 from $300.

What ever you do, never, ever, ever buy American sportswear from a European site. It always looks cute but it’s the same Adidas and Nike you can find on Footlocker for one-third of the price.

Charlotte Olympia Sample Sale Great Prices!!

Usually, we are very cautious when shopping sample sales. There are just too many shopping days in the year to justify big purchases. Today, was a exception. The Charlotte Olympia sale offers pricing so good that it’s even worth fighting the UN traffic to get to midtown.

We all love Charlotte Olympia for her quirky shoes, but if you’re going to want to head directly to the bag section. The designer’s clear box clutches usually retail for between $1200 and $1600 but are priced starting at just $150. Smaller clutches or pouches were only $100 from over $700. There are also lots of cute little accessories and pouches that are priced between $50 and $100.

Moving on to the shoes, most styles are priced at just $150. That includes Kitty Flats, Dolly platforms and several style ornate shoes. Shoe styles that are much more popular are priced at $200 but we don’t see many priced even that high.

A lot of the same items we saw are also listed at Saks Off 5th. Like this wallet at the sale is just $50. The prices aren’t as good but perhaps you can experience a bit of the thrill while shopping from afar. Pictures from the sale are posted in the jump. We suggest you hurry over fast because we are sure there will be nothing left by the time the sale closes at at 7pm on Wednesday.

Saks Gift Card Promotion Starts Now

It’s officially gift card season. Various department stores are offering gift card incentives to customers who purchase full price merchandise. This is a great opportunity to get an extra sweet gift card on an item we were going to buy anyway. While we are at it, why not seek out the best gift card.

Last week Barneys started their promotion, where customers can earn $25 gift cards for every $250 you spend. (You can see more details about the Barneys deal over here.) Saks Fifth Avenue has an even sweeter deal, where you can earn $35 in credits for every $250 you spend. Use the code SEPT2017 to engage the promotion.

Some Saks highlights include those Saint Laurent Niki boots in the short version, which are ‘just’ $2900. (A steal when compared to the OTK version that’s 10-grand.) A suede version is $1200. This Michael Kors boot has a similar heel and is priced at $800.

Among the most popular handbags this season, we are a bit confused by Gucci’s Totem. Is wearing one bag at a time so boring that you need to stack them down to your ankles. See here. Among other bags we don’t understand this season, is the Fendi logo bag. The new logo looks like a bad Canal Street logo mistake. We absolutely love Prada’s velvet bags but $2700 — it’s just priced too high.

The gift card promotion is live online and is available in stores on Wednesday and Thursday. The gift cards are only valid until the end of October, so you might want to scope out how to use them even before you make your purchase. There are more designer exclusions at Saks, which can make the Barneys deal better. Just read the fine print before making any final purchases.

    Barneys Gift Card Promotion

Not sure what to do this weekend? We suggest you head to Barneys.

Through Sunday, Barneys shoppers can earn a $25 gift card for every $250 you spend. Purchases over $1000 will get you even more. Click on the Barneys image to see a blow-up of the breakdowns. Accrued gift cards are redeemable for merchandise from September 20 through October 24.

The only exclusions are Louboutin shoes (handbags are included in the promo), Chanel and Celine. That leaves lots of the prime fall fashion from which to choose (or shoes.) Gucci, Alia and Valentino are included in the promotion. We would suggest going for Saint Laurent Niki boots (not the sparkle ones), the Loewe Puzzle bag (in red to show off the great lines), a new pair of Gucci loafers (last year’s look wore out already),  an Ienki Ienki puffer  or Balenciaga’s pointy toe kitten heels (almost sold out).

The Purple Card promotion is available at Barneys stores nationwide, on the website and at BarneysWarehouse. (Winter clothing is an extra 25% off at the online outlet store!)

Be warned, however, Barneys will most likely not extend the dates if the cards aren’t used during the specified window of time. So be sure to enjoy your meal at Freds and go back next week to use those gift cards!

Charlotte Olympia Sample Sale Will Be Great!

Usually, we are very cautious when posting about sample sales. There are just too many shopping days in the year to justify big purchases and out-of-the-way destinations. Next week may prove to be a huge exception. The two-day Charlotte Olympia kicks off on Tuesday morning and we are told it will be even better than last year.

The sale will include shoes from this past Summer and include the Let’s Go Bananas collection, the Secret Garden collection from cruise ’17 and lots of kitties and encore styles. Prices will start at just $50 and cap off at $300 on most items. At the last sale, most style shoes were just $100 and we expect this sale to be just as good. You can click here to see what we found at last year’s sale.

You can take a peak at some of the styles we expect to be in the sale over here in the jump.

    Fashion Week Trends: Candy Stripes

Fashion week is heating up. We are serving up all the smoking hot trends while we get through a marathon of shows. These top trends are what you can expect to see on the street and in the pages of your favorite fashion magazines next Spring.

Stripes were a big part of the runways last year and will be making a repeat performance. Designers took the east-west lines out of the basic black-and-white territory and injected lots of sorbet colors. Jason Wu was one of the early designers in this week’s lineup. He showed candy colored stripes going in all directions and matched them with a solid separate. Tory Burch took her runway outside and showed stripes of various sizes and colors. Monse littered the collection with stripes with enough patriotic red-white-and-blue to lead a Forth-of-July parade.

    NYFW: 10% Off at Net-A-Porter

It’s day four of New York Fashion Week and even top stylists start running out of outfit ideas. (That’s especially if the outfits are coming out of their own closets.) Net-A-Porter knows the struggle and is offering 10% off almost everything on its site.

Use the code SHOP10 to active the discount, which was only given to top VIP shoppers.

This season, we are noticing a lot of the top fashion girls opting for alternative luxury brand bags. In place of the obvious designer labels, opt for off the radar options like The Volon’s mini cube, Simon Miller’s mini bucket bag and Loewe’s Puzzle bag.

Among footwear we are still seeing a lot of Adidas (boring). There are also lots of interesting shaped mules and boots. We love Malone Souliers suede mules, Off-White’s ‘For Walking’ over-the-knee boots.

If you’re looking for more than an accessory, then you need something long and dramatic. Perhaps something like this Rixo printed print wrap dress worn as a duster or dramatic ruffle and tie tops like this one from Rosie Assouline.

If the Net’s discount still doesn’t fit into your budget, we suggest you register a new email account with TheOutnet and save 20% as a new customer.
