Mansur Gavriel End of Summer Sale: 70% Off

Just when you thought all of the fun of Summer is over, Mansur Gavriel dropped a major sale. Head over to the site right now to save up to 70% off a fantastic assortment of bags, shoes, clothing, and accessories.

The bags are always the highlight of Mansur Gavriel. Here is a white classic tote is $485 from $700, a mini-bucket bag for $465 from $665, and a sun bag is $600 from $1200.

To be completely honest, I happen to prefer Mansur’s shoes and clothing to the bags. This happens to work out great because the deals are even better. Some of the not-to-miss highlights include Cloud sandals (Birkenstock-like) for $275 from $400, a silk shirtdress for $270 from $900, and a linen maxi dress for $270 from $900.

This isn’t a wait-for-later sale. The discounts will only last for five days and some items are already selling out in sizes and colors. Once word gets out we are pretty sure very little will remain.

    Intermix Labor Day Sale

Labor Day isn’t always the best time to shop for super discounts. The new collections are still very, um new, and retailers aren’t quite ready to start discounting. This year, with delayed shipments, retailers are even more discount avoidant.

If you’re looking to get a jump on the holiday weekend with very attractive discounts, we suggest you browse over to Intermix. Right now you will find a varied assortment discounted up to 75% off. The best part is that not all the options are strictly based on the Summer wardrobe.

Check out this Philosophy blazer that’s only $379 from $1580 or this Blaze Milano gold lamé style that’s $300 from $1440. This checked blazer bodysuit is an interesting piece for  $270 from $1150, an Ulla Johnson dress is $179 from $550, and this Adam Lippes dress is $290 from $1290.

These promotional sales are also really great for basics even if they aren’t drastically reduced. Here is a bubblegum pink cashmere cardigan for $170 from $280, this ribbed sleeveless tank is $119 from $178 and Frame flared jeans are $99 from $235.

It’s also a wise time to anticipate your needs for travel– if that’s even a thing this season. It never hurts to have a fresh bikini and pair of shorts when the time comes to jet out of town.

Selfridges: Prada Recycled Nylon Collection for Less

Last year, Prada announced an initiative to create a sustainable product offering. The first collection consisted of just six bags that were constructed from plastic waste collected from oceans, fishing nets, and textile fiber waste. This season, Prada has extended measure to a full line of merchandise that’s exclusively available at Selfridges.

The most exciting part about the eco-collaboration is that many pieces are priced much less than they would be found locally. The key to finding the best values is picking items under $799, which don’t incur any duties or taxes.

Some of our top picks include the classic Prada Re-Edition bag that’s $645 from $775. This small pouch is perfect a perfect weatherproof grab-and-go bag that’s $380 from $440. I’m especially taken by this adorable nylon miniskirt that’s $700 from $1100. This bucket hat is classic and perfect for preserving a blowout. This nylon tote is $745 from $1290 and sneakers are $670 from $720.

If you so spot an item above the $799 tax threshold, you still might be able to save a tiny bit. After taxes, these popular short boots with a pouch come to $1350 from $1470. It’s a $70 savings in total, which isn’t nothing. You certainly can’t complain about a bit of savings especially when certain popular styles are selling above retail.

    Savings on Hot Designer Trends

Fall is one best time of year for fashion. It’s when all of the new trends emerge and that must-have feeling is the strongest. Pulling the full-price trigger on a new season item is a commitment but it can also be incredibly rewarding.

The Australian-based Cettire has emerged as a prime destination for new season savings. The appears to work like a market place, like Farfetch or Italist and is able to offer a currency advantage in addition to great markdowns.

Full disclosure:  I’ve personally placed two orders with  Cettire and both have been canceled. Numerous shoppers reported satisfying experiences.

If there were a big showing for fashion week we would be sure to see lots of capes. If you’re going with a high-end version, you should consider the Saint Laurent cape that’s $1133 from $2900 US. Trendsetters will also need a coat with a super long hemline. This Loewe style is gorgeous for $2000 from $2900 US.

Some other items we spotted include Moncler hats with fur poms for $250 from $400 US (lots of color options) and Bottega Tire boots are $900 from $1150.  We also spotted these new-style Prada rain/snow/winter boots with a little pouch for $980 from $1500-ish. We like the non-lace up new style but there are also short ones available.

We suggest that you search Cettire tire for any trend that is tempting your desire to see if it’s priced any less than it would be locally. We suggest you don’t wait on super hot items. You can already see that they won’t be available for much longer.

    MatchesFashion 80% Off Finds

It’s perplexing how a seemingly innocent scroll through an 80% off discount can lead to a not so benign checkout page. That is exactly how the trouble recently started Thursday night on MatchesFashion.

Editorial worthy shoes for $200? Why not! An archival Balmain dress for about $500? I’m sure I will find someplace to wear it. Oh, a new Maison Michel (Chanel) hat for $200 can’t be bad. Right?

You see, it’s a slippery slope. Here are Balenciaga knife boots for $330 from $1650, a Valentino pouch for $268 from $645, and a Jil Sander Sombrero bag for $800 from nearly $2000.

Go ahead. Take a scroll through the MatchesFashion sale section and feel secure knowing you’re not the only person wondering ‘how did this happen’.

    ShopBop’s Big Markdowns

I’ve been looking forward to a good Shopbop markdown to ready my wardrobe for a transitional seasonality period. Right now you can save 40% to 70% off 1000s of new markdowns. Use this link to click over now.

Here is a Marni Trunk bag reduced all the way down to $330 from $1650, Area snake-skin effect boots are $229 from $1150 and an Ellery sweater is $250 from $850. I’m also really into this Acne ankle boots that are now $240 from $800.

Hopefully, life won’t leave us in a confined habitat into Fall. I’m looking forward to a more dressed season. I suggest scrolling through the options from Marni, Acne, and Ulla Johnson for a little whimsical positivity. This Marni top is $207 from almost $700, a pastel Acne knit sweater is $188 from $470, and this puff-sleeve bodysuit is $200 from $330.

If the item you’re watching isn’t included in this markdown Shopbop is likely to add it in the next sale drop. Usually, the site adds batches of merchandise every few weeks.
