The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to the public on Saturday but many shopper can begin purchasing now. I don’t want to overhype a non-sale sale, but there are still some worthwhile shopping opportunities. The beauty exclusives are always fun, baby gear is one of the best categories because discounts are hard to find, and if you have kids, this is a good time to pick up the sneakers, UGGs, and other back-to-school staples you know they’ll want anyway. For the rest of us, the urgency is a little lower. There are some cute teddy jackets, and you can never go wrong with a classic Ralph Lauren sweater that somehow ends up being shared by the whole family.
