Tracking Down Discounts on Chanel Shoes

Chanel shoes really got a great markdown this year but finding the style you want, in the size you need– is never easy. At this time of year, it seems as if Chanel flats fly off the shelves faster than a falcon diving for prey. Good thing we uncovered the discount site Amuze, which is undeniably the best resource for discount Chanel shoes.

Right now, Amuze is hosting a sale where a wide selection of Chanel shoes are discounted about 50% off. Right here, is a pair of beautiful classic short boots that are reduced to $725 from $1325, Camellia cap-toe pumps are $495 from $875 and stretchy leather thigh-high boots are $1495 from $2800.

We couldn’t imagine anyone not loving all these discounts. Beyond the Chanel shoes there is a lot more to explore, like Louboutin and great designer handbags. It’s also good to know that Amuze allows returns. But shop fast, these deals will disappear as quickly.

Where to Buy Kid’s Designer Clothing

For some reason American designers continue to miss the mark when creating clothing lines for children. Gap and Crew Cuts can only take you so far. When we really want to mix it up for the little ones we cruise over to Melijoe.com. The international site hosts hundreds of designer options all for the under-14 set.

We’ve been going bonkers for the Sonia Rykiel Enfant. What we like best, however, is the huge winter clearance markdowns. Right now, the site is hosting discounts up to 70% off.

This mini-me Dolce & Gabbana rose dress is $454 from $756, a print Gautier dress is reduced to $153 and Ermanno Scervino Junior moto boots are $98 from $325. Of course there are great items for boys and babies too.

We warn you to be careful. Once you start loading your cart it could start feeling like your shopping for yourself. The big difference is that these little ones will outgrow everything you buy in under a year.

    Making the Cold Look Hot

We made it through the first part of Winter unscathed by freezing temperatures and cold weather. This week, everything changed. Nearly thirty inches of snow can do that.

Unfortunately, dressing for the coldest and nastiest of days hasn’t brought about the best fashion trends. Uggs and Canada Goose Down are not fashions brightest moments. Cold weather doesn’t need to mean you lose yourself in layers of padding. Our best advice is to dress for the weather. The most stylish of heels look ridiculous in the snow and a little bit of color goes a long way when you’re bulking up.  New York is grey enough without layers of grey and black.

Below is a selection of our favorite ways to keep warm when the mercury drops below freezing. The best part is that our late winter translates to a deluge of highly discounted cold weather clothing,

Intermix End of Season 75% Off

It’s no secret that Intermix has had a hard time chugging along since the chain of boutiques was purchased by Gap. We believe that the hardships are related to the quickly shifting retail climate. These days it’s harder for those buying smaller amounts to get top picks from designer collections. Most of the big department stores get exclusives on the best items.

Intermix just can’t compete on that level. As a matter of fact, it has lost a lot of designer brands like Saint Laurent and Fendi. There are only so many times you can sell the same woman on Rockstuds.

Another huge differentiation among luxury retailers is customer service. Intermix online is a far cry from the customer service offered by Net-A-Porter or inside Bergdorf Goodman. Nonetheless, Intermix is ideally located and always carries what you need regardless of where you are going– St. Barths, South Hampton or Madison Avenue casual.

The best part of shopping at Intermix right now is that the store has winter merchandise discounted 75% off. The sale is also online. The online selection is okay but misses the better designer options like Pucci, Stella, Proenza, and Barardi.

You can click here to see pictures from our shopping trip. Highlights include, a Peter Pilotto paneled coat for $949 from $3280, a Stella McCartney wild cat print tunic is $299 from $1220 and an Elizabeth & James sequined dress is $199 from $465. The online price of the sequined dress is only $160 after the promotion extra 20% discount.

Among the shoes and bags we found Fendi t-straps for $329, Nicholas Kirkwood pearl platforms for $309 and Chloe scalloped ballet flats for $369. If you’re a size 36 or 36.5, you don’t want to miss these Rockstud boots that are now about $700 from $2100. This Sara Battaglia bag in a more subdued color is $519 from $1835.

The downside to all these great deals is that all sales are final. If you’re not buying something you’ve worn before it might be a better idea to hit the store.

    Peter Pilotto $949 from $3280
    Pucci $299 from $1200
    Stella McCartney $399 from $1220
    Pucci $699 from $2915
    Pucci $349 from $1190
    Proenza $1149 from $3750
    Peter Philotto $269 from $940
    $319 from $1110
    Elizabeth & James $199 from $465
    Antionio Barardi $669 from $3150
    $159 from $245
    Fendi $329
    Kirkwood $309
    Fendi $359

There are also lots of Shopbop staples like jeans and sweaters. Here is pair of Dsquared2 grommet-scattered patch pockets, skinny jeans from R13 and Frame’s Le Skinny de Jeannes come to just $80 and the entire size run is available. A 525America oversized knit turtleneck is $120 from $200 and this O’2nd knit is about $80 from $315.

    Net-A-Porter Final Clearance Extra 20%

This is what end of season shoppers call the final bow. As usual, Net-A-Porter is ending the season with an extra 20% off some sale merchandise.

Enter SALE20 at checkout to engage the promotional savings. Take note, the additional discount can only be used on items that are identified “Sale Must Have.” Once you use the extra 20% discount it also makes the item final sale, which means it can’t be returned.

On the bright side, we were able to use the code on some of the most iconic pieces of the season. Here’s a great Dolce & Gabbana rose print dress that goes to $2600 from $4600, a Bottega Veneta polka-dot coat is about $1900 from nearly $6000 and a white ruffle Lanvin dress is about $2000 from $5800.

There is a great assortment of Miu Miu coats and shoes that we pulled that are about 60% to 70% off after the additional discount. There is also an assortment of Fendi clothing and shoes. Among the less expensive items is a Fendi sweater that goes down to $520 from $1300.

Taking a look through the shoe department, um section, we found Saint Laurent Tribs for Aquazzura over-the-knees both for about $480 from $1000. Stella McCartney hybrid loafers/sneakers/platforms are $170 from $525.

This sale usually lasts only two days. We suggest you snatch up what you can because the next time you see this selection it will be priced higher on the Outnet.
