Congratulations! You made it to sale season. This week, nearly every US department and boutique started markdowns ahead of the big holiday weekend. It’s all been very exciting and a bit overwhelming but we have a little secret: There is a lot more to come.
So far, retailers have only discounted a few designers. Coming up this week, we should see a lot of European designers added to the mix. We expect to see markdowns on Balenciaga, Valentino, Givenchy, and Fendi. A third sale drop will happen in mid-June and include the most premium designers, like Dior and Celine.
Moda Operandi started its Summer sale today. Prices are up to 60% off and there is a great assortment of fashion and accessories. The best part is that the online store is still stocked on many popular items that sold out at other stores. The designer sale at Saks Fifth Avenue started today. Discounts top 50% off but most items are reduced by about 40%. Those looking for Chanel sale at Saks can tap this way. There isn’t much that’s notable among the handbag markdowns but we are sure more will be added in the coming weeks.
