This season of markdowns has come in designer waves. Today you can “wave” hello to discounts on Valentino. Many stores started sales on Valentino bags, shoes, clothing, and accessories. 

Suit is an Italian designer boutique located in Lecce, which is just south of Puglia. The store has a fantastic assortment of merchandise and recently sent us a private link where you can save 35% off with the code VIPSALE. You must use this link to access the eligible assortment. The discounts are 40% off and there are some really great iconic styles available. The sale opens to the public on June 16. Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus both added new designers to their sale lineup. Some highlights include mid-to-higher range bag designers but the real luxury sales have not hit yet. We should see a healthy deluge of merchandise next week. We accumulated the best current sale picks from both sites and added them below.

 MyTheresa is the latest retailer to begin markdowns. The German-based retail is offering discounts of up to 50% off. Be sure to check out the Zimmerman selection, which is mostly 40% off, and the Johanna Ortiz swimwear that sold out at most retailers before sales even started. Every store is coming at it from a little bit of a different perspective. UPDATE: MyTheresa started Saint Laurent markdowns. The sale is “Private,” which means you need to click this link to view the discounts. Most merchandise is discounted by 30% off. 

YSL just released its private sale link. Click here to review the selection. We are told quantities are limited. Overall, inventories have been small this season. 

Bergdorf Goodman is offering a private sale link here. There are no bags included in the markdown but there is an iconic YSL belt.

Ssense updated its private sale with Saint Laurent. To see the selection you must have a customer history with a spend of at least $1500 in the past six months. Most bags are discounted 20%. 

At Saks Fifth Avenue you can use the private code SAKSSALE to engage the markdown.  The discount is about 30% off. You can use this link to see all the items that are discounted. 

At Nordstrom, you can use this link to access the Saint Laurent edit of Private Sale. The selection isn’t great but the discount is 40% off on most items. The best of the crop are these loafers and the blazers, which are always classic.
