Sale season is about to go into full swing but we all know that the hottest items of the season probably won’t make it to markdowns. That doesn’t mean you can’t find savings. Below are a few sites where you can find a deal on items that most probably will not go on sale. Remember, items that close for less than $800 are not subject to any duties. We included all duties (not tax) in the prices provided below.
The LVMH-owned site, 24S started its first markdown where you can save up to 50% off. The selection doesn’t include many top “LVMH” designers, but some good and affordable items are available. The Balenciaga items featured below are part of the private Balenciaga sale where you can use the code PS30 to engage the discount.
So many local stores started sales this week but they are all missing the high-end European designer fashions we truly lust for. Good things we have a variety of choices. Nordstrom started its markdowns overnight. The discounts range from 30% to 40% off. A lot of the designer merchandise found in the sale section is from past seasons. If you’re looking for fresh sale merchandise, you should focus your attention on Balmain, Zimmermann , and Off-White. Saks Fifth Avenue started a private designer sale today. Access could be tricky but you can try to enter the selection here. Use the code SAKSSALE at checkout to save 40% off. Look for lots of Oscar de la Renta and Balmain. UPDATE: Burberry and Alaia were added to the private sale.

The FWRD sale just landed in our inbox and we were excited to jump in. Unfortunately, it’s a lot less of a designer markdown than we would have hoped. Most of the new discounts are on dresses and tops from more contemporary designers. We suggest focusing on the denim selection. The styles are fresh and the prices aren’t bad, The designer sale items are mostly from past seasons and only available in one or two sizes. The MatchesFashion sale started today. Discounts scale up to 50% off. If I’m going to be completely honest, I would categorize this markdown as low energy. There isn’t much that’s very exciting.
