    The prices of designer shoes have skyrocketed over the past five years. It wasn’t so long ago that standard designer pumps retailed for $600. Now it seems as if $900 is the designer benchmark. Analysts frequently debate if people are actually spending more or just waiting longer for deeper discounts.

    After experiencing several seasons of sticker shock it’s fun to hunt for shoes that are reduced under $300. Insiders tell us there is an deluge of designer merchandise still left in stores. Above is a great assortment of designer shoes that will cost you somewhere in the $200-range. It just proves that no matter your budget you should never settle.

    Our lineup includes an impressive assortment from Francesco Russo, Charlotte Olympia, Jimmy Choo, Prada and Aquazzura. Sizes are limited in each style but if you hunt, we are sure everyone can find something to gather.

    Bandier Sale Up to 60% Off

    Bandier has hit the upscale athletic-wear market and has attracted the attention of everyone from Barry’s Bootcamp warriors to the SLT contortionists. It’s hard-core workout chic.

    We recently hit the sale racks and found some really great finds that are reduced up to 60% off. We are in love with these print Ringer leggings that are reduced to $82 from $118. Over here is a Norma Kamali racker tank with pockets (genius!) for $44 from $144, gumball leggings from Terez are $30 from $72 and here is the matching sports bra for $40 from $72.

    Buying new athletic wear is great motivation to keep your latest package from expiring. After all, how many pairs of $100 leggings does anyone need?

    Neiman Marcus Discounts Hit 80% Off

    The sale of all designer sales is here.

    Neiman Marcus is now offering discounts up to 80% when you take an extra 40% off designer clothing. Other sale merchandise is reduced an extra 20% off bringing the total savings to 75% off. This promotion is available in stores and online.

    Manolo Blahnik Rogustta Lace-up Pumps

    The shoe sale is really quite stellar. Checking out the selection there are a lot of shoes we’ve been eyeing that are now reduced to irresistible prices. If you have a larger size foot, we suggest you grab these Aquazzura suede wedges asap. The price is just $166 from almost $700. These Tom Ford animal print calf-hair pumps are available in almost every size and are reduced to $400 from almost $1700. Jimmy Choo platform heels and Gianvito Rossi velvet pumps would cost even more than $200 at a sample sale.

    The clothing selection is quite good too. Over here we found a Moschino ‘Stop Sign’ dress that’s reduced all the way down to $250 from $1400,  a striking white jumpsuit from Angona is $360 from $2000 and a Givenchy draped one-shoulder fitted dress is $500 from $2300.

    This sale runs through Tuesday but we don’t expect prices to get any lower. We suggest you grab what you need now and wear it right away. After all, there is nothing better than wearing a great sale find while it’s still in-season.

    Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Goes Public

    The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to the public Friday. We like to think of the promotion as a Fall pre-presale and it’s a great opportunity to stock up on items that you will need as soon as temperatures start heading south or even some fun items you can enjoy now.

    This year’s prices and the assortment is stellar. We sorted through the entire inventory from the women’s and kid’s sale sections. Below are some of our favorites items:

    TheOutnet Clearance 85% Off

    TheOutnet is hosting a huge sale on Tuesday morning where everything will be discounted 80%. In addition to clothing, the sale will include shoes, bags and jewelry.

    We dug in, browsing the sale assortment and fell in love with this Stella McCartney embellished coat that’s reduced 85% to $835 from $5565 and a colorful Etro dress is $300 from almost $2000. Among the shoes are Saint Laurent studded cowboy boots for $320 from $1600 and Maiyet boots are $199 from $1000. There is a great Charlotte Olympia Perspex bag reduced to just $380 from $1900. There are also lots of jeans for about $50.

    If you don’t see what you like, we suggest you continue to check back. We are told even more merchandise will be added throughout the week. We have a feeling that enough damage can be done right now. Just be warned, all sales are final.

    M. Gemi Summer Clearance

    Fashion shoppers have more choices then ever. There are the super luxury companies that are the main influencers of trend and style, there are the lower priced-copycats and the middle of the road contemporary brands. The newest trend in retail is the emergence of companies like M. Gemi that produce top quality fashion for no-frills prices.

    Selling Out: Melania Trump Wears Roksanda at RNC

    Melania Trump took the RNC main stage tonight wearing British designer, Roksanda Illincic. The dress is currently available on Net-A-Porter in black or white. The price is $2200 and is selling out quickly.

    The ‘Margot’ dress is made of a blend of ivory cotton and silk and designed with a nipped-in waist and dramatic bell sleeves in a contrasting basketweave. There is also a crepe option in hot pink that’s $1365.

    Roksanda Illincic has dressed many other celebrities including Kate Middleton, Shailene Woodley, Jessica Paré, Anne Hathaway, and a whole roster of stylish stars. The designer is known for super-modern, sculptural shapes, bright color schemes. If you don’t catch the Margo dress, be sure to snag some of the designer’s past season looks that are currently reduced up to 70% off.

    Manolo Blahnik Second Markdown 60% Off

    The streets are steaming hot. What to do when you need to get out of your over air-conidtioned environment? Head over to Manolo Blahnik boutique’s second markdown. The sale starts Monday and we’ve been told that the inventory is running practically at full stock.

    This second markdown 60% off, which is much more than usual.  Surrounding department store competition must be putting pressure on the exclusive boutique. The prior markdown started after July 4th and was just a 30% discount.

    We imagine that the next markdown will occur as usual in early August and will provide the best shopping opportunity of the season. The final markdown is always one of our favorite sales. Prices range from $195 to $350. Most shoes and low boots– even highly ornate styles– are priced at $250.

    Expect to find a full assortment of shoes from the summer collection. Personally, we are waiting to make our major purchases in August. After all, everyone is out of the city.
