If I had a dollar for every time a salesperson told me that Moncler wasn’t going on sale this season…well, I wouldn’t be writing this post. (Okay. Yes, I would. It’s a labor of love.)
As we always anticipated, Moncler will go on sale and it has. Today started a coordinated markdown on Moncler outerwear. That means that local retailers throughout the city all put the French puffer jackets on sale today. Online shoppers should focus on Saks Fifth Avenue.
In the woman’s department, the chevron design puffer is now $862 from $1150, a velvet style is $1237 from $1650 and a utility style with a fur collar is $1725 from $2300. The selection is just as good for men. We suggest you grab any of the styles offered by Saks right now because a full range of sizes are still available. That won’t be the case for very long.
Bergdorf Goodman carries many of the same styles but they weren’t put on markdown last year. The men’s department was the only sale destination for Moncler. Expect to find a rack right on the first floor of the men’s store. Don’t be surprised if you also find Canada Goose and Prada filling those men’s racks too. Online we found a woman’s Prada puffer with a drawstring that’s $1812 from $3020 and a men’s Stone Island jacket is 50% off or $614.
The Moncler edit is just as good at Neiman Marcus. Here is a men’s logo Moncler jacket for $1785 from $2380, a woman’s blue puffer with contrasting oversized logo is $937 from $1250, and a toned down version in red is $1200 from $1600. Our favorite is this chevron 80s throwback style for $860 from $1150 and here is a girl’s (8-14yo) style for $690. This herringbone print with a fur collar is very tempting too at $1700 from $2300.
Don’t feel overwhelmed. A big markdown like this can be a lot to digest. We created a link with all the sale options. Click here to review a full assortment of all the Moncler. We hope that seeing everything in one place will reduce shopping confusion.
Other brands to keep an eye out include winter items from Fendi, Henro and more. Online selections can be tricky. It’s best to keep a browser handy. It might also not be a bad idea to take a screen shot of this post to show the next sales person who tells you Moncler never goes on sale.
